What an exciting time for the Fredericksburg GOP Committee! We are organizing to ensure long-term success, and we have people stepping up to help lead our priorities. Virginia is a battleground state, and our Congressional District will be one of the most competitive and expensive in the nation. We need you! - Saturday October 26 – MAJOR EVENT! We will have a major door knocking event in Fredericksburg for Derrick Anderson. 401 Hanover St., 9AM.

- Saturday November 2 – Early Voting Saturday! Need volunteers to work as poll greeters, 9AM-5PM.
- Tuesday November 5 – ELECTION DAY – All Hands on Deck! We need your help on November 5th, so make plans now to take off work or clear your schedule. We must provide Election Officers, Poll Greeters, Poll Watchers, Cleanup/Setup Crews, and Supply Runners. There are 5 Precincts in Fredericksburg, open from 6am-7pm, and we want to have volunteers at EVERY precinct. There is also (Oct 26 + Nov 2) and for some activities directly before and after election day. Training will be provided for all volunteers. Other Volunteer Opportunities:
Postcard Parties: Every Sunday 2pm-5pm at 401 Hanover Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22401. Come join us as we write and send postcards to registered voters for Derrick Anderson. All materials will be provided.
Door-Knocking: There is no better way to get voters to the polls than having a conversation with them. Join Derrick Anderson every Saturday from 9am-12pm until election day. Meet at 4800 Southpoint Pkwy., Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
Trump Force 47: Become a Trump Force 47 Leader today. Incentives include a grand meeting with President Trump at Mar-a-Lago after the election, no matter the outcome. Sign up today https://trumpforce47.com/
Delivering/Placing Signs: Looking for people to help deliver and put up signs at various locations. Please email the Fxbg GOP Chair at fxbggopcommittee@gmail.com for more details if interested.
Witness for Absentee Ballot Pre-Processing: Every Tuesday at 9:30AM the registrar’s office pre-processes all received mail-in absentee ballots. We need representatives to witness and be present during this time.
Political Signs
We have signs available! Email fxbggopcommittee@gmail.com to have a sign delivered.
Rules for Signs: They must be on Private Property with permission from the Property Owner. Please be aware of HOA rules when placing signs in neighborhoods.
Early Voting and Voting Deadlines
Early Voting Started on Sept 20th in Virginia, and every person should plan to vote early. The earlier you vote, the quicker you stop getting political mail, text messages, phone calls, or door knocks. Early voting saves campaigns a significant amount of money and time because as soon as you vote, they can take you off their list and stop contacting you.
Oct. 16 Last day to register to vote*
Oct. 26 First day of Saturday voting 9am-5pm
Oct. 27 Last day to request a mail ballot
Nov. 4 Last day of early voting 9am-5pm
Nov. 7 Election Day, last day to vote 6am-7pm
* Same-day registration starts Oct. 17th

Vote in person at the Registrar’s office at 601 Caroline St. in Fredericksburg
• Weekdays starting Sept. 22nd: 8:30am to 4:30pm
• Saturdays Oct. 26th and Nov. 2nd: 9am to 5pm
FXBG Comprehensive Plan
Fredericksburg is updating their Comprehensive Plan and will be holding meetings to discuss what the city will look like in 10-50 years. Now is the chance to have your conservative voice heard.
